Pubblicità Volkswagen T-Roc 2020: la canzone dello spot e il video
Dal 10 gennaio 2020 vengono trasmessi in tv 2 spot sulla Volkswagen T-Roc denominati Football Team e After School, che vedono protagonisti un bambino e una bambina, che per far colpo sugli amichetti, fingono di avere parentela con altrettanti proprietari di questa automobile, un uomo e una donna che in realtà nemmeno conoscono.
Nell’arco dell’intera pubblicità, sentiamo una coinvolgente e rockeggiante canzone scelta per fare da colonna sonora. Appena dopo i due video ve ne parlo, indicandovi il titolo e non solo.
Il titolo della canzone è:
I Love Rock ‘n’ Roll, brano scritto nel 1975 da Alan Merrill e Jake Hooker degli Arrows, gruppo rock britannico formatosi a Londra nel 1973. I Love Rock ‘n’ Roll è probabilmente una delle più famose canzoni rock degli anni ’70. Il testo e l’audio.
a renderla famosa ci pensarono Joan Jett e la sua band the Blackhearts, che realizzarono una bellissima e intramontabile cover nel 1982 (quella utilizzata nello spot in oggetto per essere precisi), raggiungendo poco dopo la prima posizione nella Billboard Hot 100, durata 7 settimane, ma il brano andò molto forte anche in Australia, in Canada, in Nuova Zelanda ed in Svezia. Il fatto curioso è che due anni prima, dopo aver visto gli Arrows cantarla in uno spettacolo televisivo, Joan Jett se ne innamorò e la incise con Steve Jones e Paul Cook dei Sex Pistols, senza tuttavia riscuotere grande successo. Tra le cover, segnalo anche quella di Britney Spears che la incise per l’album “Britney” e che venne anche utilizzata nel film della cantante “Crossroads – Le strade della vita”.
